Wow - just looked at the distribution. Having grown up in the top right tip of the country, I've always just thought of them as "another crow." Gonna go looking for one now! lol

It’s associated with someone who used to post on here stuff that apparently was largely fantasy. The end of the make believe coincided with them posting about hooded crows coming into roost where they wouldn’t do because they just aren’t there

I've never seen one in England or Wales. I've seen oodles of them in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

I’ve only seen one in Scotland up here in Moray and that was years ago on a long cycle. I’ve been on the look out since I moved up.
