Red Squirrel
Day 1 - red squirrel in tree overhead Day 2 - red squirrel on feeding table in front of me Day 3 - 3 red squirrels on feeding tables as I approached Someone’s set up a squirrel feeding area with nuts, seeds and fruit in woods near where I live. Structures made from branches have been set up, so when the squirrels disperse, it looks like they’re on an assault course. |

Surelynot
I’m having a break on Mallorca and thought I may see some birds. The only sightings I have had to date are wood pigeons.

Ness
If you can get to S'Alberfera while you're on the island, Surelynot, you'd be able to see a bit more variety. I've seen cattle egrets, hoopoes and a number of other species in the reserve.

I am currently in Rhodes. There were two raptors soaring over the old town. Bellies were pale with darker wing tips. They didn't really look like buzzards, definitely not kites. Possibly a fraction bigger than a buzzard. Any suggestions?
