Ah, flanker, it just so happens that I am able to speak a couple of Scandinavian languages so I won't be so easily fooled!

Red Squirrel
Yesterday on a tiny 10-metre lane leading off the Bristol to Bath shared path I saw: 2 robins Song thrush Wren Great tit 2 goldfinches
I stood there until 2 people can along with their dog. It was magical.

Sorry it's not a very sharp photo. I've seen more redwings in our Gloucestershire garden this year than I have for a long time. Not sure if this says anything about conditions in Scandinavia or here, or there's no reason. This was just now, outside our living room window.

Daisy, redwings will definitely come into gardens more during cold snaps. One was in ours yesterday and I'm hoping it spotted the crab apples and is planning a return.

Still holding out for our garden to be found by a Redwing!
Sparrows, however, are still plentiful 😀
