If anyone's planning to go to Weymouth this weekend....rain from 11am Saturday to about midday Sunday, winds above 40mph all day Sunday, peaking at around 50 mph for a couple of hours late morning.
Can't see a swim taking place, and there must even be some doubt about the bike....

I did another running by the sea, including a bit of shingley beach. Only a bit, but it was enough.

I'm still ~planning~ on being at the start line.
I can't see the swim taking place either. If it does go ahead, I've promised my wife I will not do anything unless I'm 100% sure I'll at least survive. I'm not sure 50 mph winds and swimming in the channel in September would meet that criteria.

It's going to be a VERY expensive half marathon if the forecast holds - 50mph winds is tree branches coming down/weather warning territory and I don't think they could hold a bike in those circumstances - insurance etc would have to be invalid.
Swim is a gonner if its even close to the forecast.
