Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Presumably this is the type of position you're talking about Badger? But with sensor more central?

Cool. The wahoo looks quite big compared to the polar.

I thought maybe a software update might help but the OH1 won't connect to the flow app for some reason

Following Badger's earlier post, I got the auxiliary HR working on my Fenix5. It confirms my impression of the OHR. Too low at start going too high at the end. I'm supposing it uses the OHR for the training load and VO2 estimates. The high tail end makes it think my anaerobic load is well up!

Yes, in absolute terms it isn't that big but the polar is really impressively tiny! I've heard of people having problems with it flipping over too easily under long sleeves (but any of the arm units you have to be careful with long sleeves - ideally either loose enough they won't move it, or compression-tight so they'll pretty much hold the HRM even if the strap is loosened by the sleeve).

I find outer biceps works well for the Tickr. must be comfortable as I tend to forget I'm wearing it until I get in the shower.

Inner bicep for the win here. That run was 10 miles at 1233 HR beats per mile. The other runs (two 6 and two 3 miles) were mid to high 1300s!

I can see why it works on the inner bicep for me, with my arm bent, it slots into the soft bit under my bicep muscle and I don't see any sensor light escaping. On the outside, bend my arm actually pushes the sensor away a bit and I can see the sensor light. Outer forearm would have the same issue.

The pic was taken with the sensor switched on so you can see that no light is escaping.
