[ Quite so Dio. If it takes 21 days to form a habit, I don't want to be having a chocolate every morning for best part of a month ]

Why it costs £1.25 to send a Xmas card within the UK, but (only?) £2.20 to send it to Japan.

How someone can mistake morning with evening.

Got a message saying the roofer was coming on "Tuesday evening between 9:30 and 10."

Thought that was very odd time to come, but went with it.

Of course, he's just been.

Why I just got a notification from Strava! I don't remember having an account there. There's no data in it so must have set it up in the far distant past before I had a Garmin 😳

i know nerves come into play, but i don't understand why so many people on quiz shows, when faced with a question that only has a finite number of answers (eg. On which continent... or In which century... or Which British city) choose to pass. JUST GUESS!!!

Why, when a toaster is switched off at the wall, it doesn't it stay down when you push the lever down.

Don't know, but I'm glad of it. If it did stay down, I don't know how often I'd come back to find my bread still in there untoasted as I'd pushed it down and walked away.
