is that during the race or before at the prospect? if that young lady screeching on the film is there and you fall over, don't forget to give her a hug. |

the same vest as my picture, but the contents are a bit older. if you are at Wollaton i'll look out for you, that's a better course. I think today's isn't really XC. but it's quite a pleasant place to run.

Chrisity - don't worry, I have no intention of falling over ;-). Looking forward to it so shoes will only be turning brown during the event ;-). Happy its three weeks away though, couple more runs around the 10 mile mark can be done.

To paul296, our league gives out raffle tickets for your finishing position, you keep them for the prize draw at the end as there's normally 5 - 10 prizes ranging from chocolates, through sports drinks / gels to wine...

First league race of the season last Saturday (30th) @ Leamington, beacon hill was a killer and we went up it three time, and a bit too much exuberance first time round meant I fried my quads (almost to the point of cramp) which took the next half a lap to recover AKA losing places, lol. I was ok the next two times round though, good practice for the Midlands Champs at the end of January. Quads are still sore today. For anyone that did the race (and anyone that would just like to look), below are links to the set of pics my club's photographer took at the race: Womens: flickr.com Mens: flickr.com |
