RMo3B - you'll be fine with short spikes on the track (assuming, and I'm hoping this still makes it a sensible answer, they're not cross country spikes).
Hearing the possibility of rain, there is no shelter to speak of at the track side - so you might want to bring umbrellas etc.
I live in Sandy and I'm really sorry to be missing tomorrow. The little Js would have enjoyed joining in, and Mrs J would have helped enthusiastically with the cake (making, distributing and consuming...). Unfortunately we have a family theatre trip to London booked.
Looking forward to being able to join in next time.

Sorry you can't be there too, Ed. Hope you enjoy the theatre.
Fingers crossed the rain clears up by 0900, as forecast.

I read "white cloud" the other day. Which in reality means "there's a possibility of rain but don't hold us to it one way or another"...
See you all tomorrow anyway!

See you all in the morning, I may be a tad late but not too much. Don't forget to check your mile PBs before you turn up, yer know just in case you're on form.

I've not done a mile before so it will be a PB whatever. Just interested to know what it will be. Banana bread in the oven as I type, hope it turns out as nice as my mum's!

Thanks to everyone, that was an enjoyable morning. The rain held off, the cake was nice and the tea hot. I ran more than I expected to, having been troubled with Shin Splints this last month and touch wood all is still well with the shin. Decided against running back to Bedford though! I was quite a way off my mile PB but very pleased all the same.
And thanks for supporting the 10 in 10 - wear your badges with pride!
