Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Mine took a year! And a lot of toing and froing. Fortunately I had lots of evidence and lots of people helped me to follow up with even more evidence, many of them Fetchies. It was a rigmarole, to be sure! :-) G

Their website says its 12 weeks to consider if a new category can count as a record then a minimum of 12 weeks to judge that record (unless you pay the priority fee - which you have to pay for each step). But guess if you dont and if there is a debate then it can go on for just about ever!

What time did you do? :-)

3:46 Keith - it's since been beaten, 3:21 by a 20 something lad at London a couple of years ago. He didn't have to wait for his certificate. His corporate backers paid the £4,500 fee! :-) G

I've put it in my portfolio but haven't signed up yet. One of the clubs I'm in (yes, I'm a club tart!) is doing it as autumn club outing and I thought I'd join in. When you say mixed terrain, it's not cross-country or anything, is it? I was hoping it was fast, flat tarmac? :-) G

That's the one Ally - I still think it's a finer place to set the record for fastest marathon in Highland dress! :-) G

But surely 'Highlsnd Dress' is an affectation of the lowlanders ;-) .

I assume some of the delay was in deciding what should properly be worn under a list for 26.2 miles?
