It has long since been sold @HappyG(rrr) but think their were nine flats and six cottages. Tennis court, putting green, kids soft play games room. And all for £20 a week. I had at least two team building days there in the conference facilities as well One year we took the bikes but could only get three on the car. I cycled there and was absolutely rooked on arrival long after the family got there. |

I love Peebles - it was on our shortlist of places that we might choose to live post Brexit (and when Scottish independence was a possibility).

It’s on our shortlist of places we might consider moving to at some point. Not that we are unhappy where we are.

That's a long old bike ride Bazo. Impressive. There is a train part way there now of course (the Borders line to Galashiels), but no station in Peebles. In the office. Couldn't sleep because of work troubles. Have a good retired day today everyone. G

Many happy memories of family holidays around Fife and def remember Peebles being a lovely place. I could happily retire to Scotland. (My mam’s dad & family are Scottish hence the family holidays there)

I have visited Peebles briefly once, in September 2008 , finishing a leg of a charity Le Jog there. It looked nice enough, although it was raining and I was mostly running with a queue of traffic at my back. Almost as soon as we had finished we headed back to Edinburgh. |
