We got the actual deeds. I donβt think they do that anymore - or do they? It's all online at Land Registry. |

...which is another area of potential fraud. I've got our property on an email alert if any changes are made to the online entry ( and also my Mom's house)

Thanks Sigh Have signed up to monitor my property and my Mother's. Am I able to look at a history to see if anything has already happened? |

Just don't expect the Land Registry to do anything very quickly. It's been over a year since we (the three freeholders) sent them the new leases on the flats in our London house. Our solicitor told us Long delays at the Land Registry registering transactions has been a problem for the past 2-3 years and see the article below that I just found online. theguardian.com Why registrations are taking so long is unknown, but my best guess is cost cutting and using less staff in the move to digitising everything. |

Thanks Sigh Have signed up to monitor my property and my Mother's. Am I able to look at a history to see if anything has already happened? I also paid the small fee for the online copy of the title, to check it's as it should be (this was after my mortgage lender had notified me they'd notified Land Registry after I'd cleared the mortgage). |
