Sorry your finding it hard at the moment slowblonde. Only 20 miles to go though & think of the satisfaction you'll get for completing the course & getting your hands on that outrageous buckle.
Keep going, nearly there. Oh, I forgot. At least you'll get more value for money than the speed merchants. Nice pacing.

I've been saved by my 200 mile month in May otherwise I'd be under serious pressure! 7.7 miles today, rest day tomorrow. I'll run Sunday and hopefully Monday will finish it with a week to spare. My initial predictions were end of July but that's slipped considerably. It's kept me going out on days i might'nt so glad I signed up 😊

Phew, made it.
Yesterday I was on 995.6 miles. Earlier on this afternoon I went for a 7 mile run just up onto the South Downs & back. According to my mental arithmetic, that puts me just over the 1000 mile mark. I got caught in a couple of heavy showers, but to honest, it was quite refreshing. It's still hot & muggy down here on the South Coast.
I hope those still on the course are closing in on the finish. Good luck.
