Apparently, I'm in Branston. Didn't even know there was a place called Branston. Knew there was a pickle called Branston though.

For most of this Challenge I have hovered around 230th-235th in the table. Then I had a good spell and rose to 215th-220th. I harboured thoughts of continuing that to finish in the top 200 but a poor string of runs put me back to about 235th. I am now having another decent spell but it is too late for an inside 200 finish - unless I can run 22.3 miles in the next few minutes before the current 199th Fetchie completes just 1 mile . Although my incentive is that I am currently on the A14 which is a very busy major trunk road. I should complete the Challenge this weekend in 215th-220th place which is not bad considering .

Iād like to see you do 22.3 miles in a few minutes, but I think your plan is probably better

for the latest finishers (i.e. everybody who has finished since I last dropped by a week or two back) and well done everybody else who is continuing to pick up badges along the way.
Flatlander - I'd regard any finish, regardless of position, as better than 'not bad considering'

That A14 incentive has helped me to run 10 miles this morning, so only 12.3 miles left to go. The country road I am now on is far quieter than the A14 - I can even hear the birds sing . The top people in the Challenge table haven't moved since I last wrote, so now I am off out again to run those last 12.3 miles - it will take me only 5 minutes to get them done and claim that 199th place .

Just looked at my Streetview and I'm in the middle of bloody nowhere again, as I have been for the past week or more. I shouldn't be surprised, I am in Shropshire. To be precise, I am in Aston Rogers, who you may recall from the Sitcoms Fresh Fields and May To December

I have made it to Eccleshall. I've run there from home before now, and cycled there many times.

It is funny when it takes place on your doirstep, isn't it?
From the start in Cardiff until Ludlow the whole thing was my stumping ground. At times I forgot it was virtual and "almost"went out to hand out Welshcakes and Eggcakes at a one man Fetchpoint.
