Having done no exercise for 5 days because of poorliness, I managed a little walk this morning. I'm now 13 miles behind Darwin. I haven't calculated how many miles I need to do every day to catch up with him but it's going to take me a while, I expect. Hey ho.

A very pleasant and leafy downhill stretch here! But assuming that says "Bus Stop" in Welsh and English on the road - anyone care to enlighten me how to pronounce it? "Safle" I can have a crack at, but "Ns" is a bit of a challenge! Of has a letter been worn off the road surface?

I would suggest 'bws' as in 'cous cous'. (you wait for one, and then two show up at once)

From my student days in Aberystwyth, I seem to remember the game of taking a word and adding "io" if you couldn't do something eg dim parcio, dim smokio, dim entrio . So the absence of buses in the pic is perhaps dim busio?
