I had a bit of stollen this afternoon. It was slices of the small version from Lidl. I think the quality of their stollen has gone down over the last couple of years.

I am wondering whether to aim for a negative split, ie consume more in the first half of the event, knowing other forces will come into play late in the second half (puddings, cakes etc).
Mind you, McG's 'warm up' needs to be taken seriously. Just go straight in, or warm up first ? Hmmm. (or just mmm)
