Can anyone recall that Yola track I posted a while back? It was a featured play on Radio 2 for a while. To my shame I had never really listened to any of her stuff before and I've been trying to catch up with that, she really is very good. I'm on several music forums and this morning we were - as is often the case - discussing female vocalists and the subject of Yola came up. Apparently she is fecking awesome live, so I decided to try and find some footage of her. This is a live performance of "Dancing Away" and I have to agree, she is bloody amazing. If ever I get the chance I'll be going to see this wonderful lady.

OK. NS night v v good as usual. Danced downstairs this time Hann.

In other news, I've found a great track and will post as soon as I've got a good connection. I:ll be contributing to the top 100 next week when I've moved home.

Good Hann. Got busy and happy-vibed. We danced til we dropped at about 2am. No dance students upstairs or the amazing man that I could see, but I bumped into 6 friends and we had lots of hugs and dances. Didn't see the Salisbury couple either. Gonna try to go to some of the other music nights they organise at some point. I love the diversity of ages.
