It's a Mrs King's pie Tuppers. Made a couple of miles down the road from work at Cotgrave. I have a client on the same industrial estate who I visit quite regularly

Did you know there are more teetotal people than veggies in UK? 10.4 million people In 2017, the proportion of adults who said that they did not drink alcohol at all – those claiming to be teetotal – was 20.4%. This equates to approximately 10.4 million people in the population of Great Britain.1 May 2018 3 million vegetarians A more recent poll put it at 5.7 per cent. This means there are over three million vegetarians in the UK today. Vegetarians (people who don't eat meat) and vegans (people who don't eat or use any animal products) are both becoming increasingly common in UK culture. And yet being veggie or vegan is seen as cool, trending, up and coming. But teetotal...?! Just an observation! G |

Great post G. My son is teetotal and veggie! I know loads of teetotal folk. I haven't had a pork pie for months. I mainly had them as a savoury snack during ultras. Now I think I associate them with ultras and that doesn't always conjure up good feelings! A bit like I only eat sweets during ultras so don't ever think, I'll have a packet of haribos. |

I'm teetotal and veggie, too. I'm amazed at those stats.

Yeah, I couldn't find one that gave a figure for both veggie and teetotal (Venn diagram intersect anyone?!) but was surprised to find that non-drinking is not so unusual as people make it out to be! Pleasantly surprised! G
