Chris agreed, I'd like to see Sidebottom back into the team soon, think Trott was brilliant and is a real prospect (ok he was born in SA) What I would like to see is us playing down Pietersen's role, I think we get carried away with "stars" , let him get on with playing cricket and let's not elevate him to be the "Beckham" of cricket. Obviously this is mainly due to the press, but I'd hate to see cricketers all going the same way as the premier football stars.

"Apparently" the celebrations were so much lower profile this time because they want to get on with training and learning from what they have done well.....
I bet the celebrations weren't THAT low profile behind the scenes though.

It all looks fragile to me (but I'd have dropped Broad, what do I know?) Batting has consistently misfired and the bowling's patchy. All great sides are built around a consistently dangerous performer - and who in the setup would you bet your shirt on? Strauss at a push?

well i wouldnt pick harmison again, sorry but he bowls on a ploughed field, he will always get wickets for his county. Broad, Sidebottom, swann and or panesar, anderson for me. One more not sure? Batters I'll think about....

One thing I would not have done is dropped Broad. But then no girl would!

This broad and Anderson seem to be quite good.
I predict they will be England's two highest wicket takers by 2022
