It's a bit too dark now to take a pic.

Plus bigleggy actually has little legs I hear, apparently he's only 4'8...

My tallest is 2.10m, or nearly 7'. It's reached the pergola (which is 8' but the flower is in a pot). Slightly worried that a squirrel will nab the flower head!
The self-sown or is nearly as tall and the runt a mere 1.60m (about 5'3).

Using my patented sunflower measuring stick, my tallest is getting close to 7.5ft - but like SKs, mine is in a pot....

I measured from the base of the stem...big pots (and decent compost) are clearly the way to go!

I need to knock off about 1ft for the pot, so yours are definitely ahead of mine SK. I can't get over how ridiculously short I look in that picture!

Finally! My tallest one's in the ground and measured 4'2". The other one in the ground seems to have had it's top chopped/broken off.
My second one is in a pot and more lush but only 3' tall.
I don't know what they'll look like when I come back from my holiday.

The rules are where it leaves the soil to the top of the plant.
That's the measure to take
