I'm bringing a bag with some spare clothes and ought to be able to fit them in, RA. I'm staying up in London for the evening as I'm taking ds1 to a concert at the South Bank (assuming he can navigate a train by himself...)

You don't need to carry hydration! 10 miles in chilly weather, with many a pub/shop/tourist trap along the way.
