At least they've owned up to it. I'm going to be weeping salt tears all night though, at the thought of the loss of the salted twigs and compost.

I was trying to find the pub on the map earlier but didn't spot it.

They didn't really own up to it. The bloke was trying to tell me I hadn't done the proper booking till I pointed out they'd emailed me.
AR - the pub is to the East of the Cutty Sark along the Thames Path - it's not on the route itself.

Found it. I wasn't looking that far over on that side. There do seem to be a few pubs in the area though. We may be a bit stuffed on the bag drop at the moment though.

Is "The Bridge" of Apprentice fame in the vicinity? There would be poetry in going there.
Or for something I've actually experienced myself (shudders), the cafe at the Thames Barrier.

London is a big place, we'll find somewhere! Bit awkward it being so last minute though

Could do two successive sittings in the smaller room. But if we're not all together that rather defeats the object of the exercise.
BTW, is a map going to be necessary for this run?

Yes thanks McGoohan
Could they do us a buffet on the small room instead?

Could they book us a table for 12 in the main pub and we could rotate from one to the other? You can't talk to 30 people at once anyway!
