Good news, TeeBee, since we'll be coming from over there [waves hands vaguely in the direction of Twickenham relative to the centre of London]. If anyone's doing the full distance at a gentle running pace I'll join them but if the consensus is something shorter that'll do fine :)

What time will things be happening? The buzzy one and I have to be dressed up and in Covent Garden by 6.45pm.

Should be done by 3/3.30ish. Do you need to get back to Twickers, change and out again, V'rap? If so I'd suggest maybe not doing the full distance - especially given the reduced train service. Would depend on how close your accommodation is to the station.

We do, TeeBee. I'd imagine everyone else in the cheap seats will be a bit whiffy, but I don't fancy rolling home late at night wearing running kit.

And looking at the trains, they are actually more restricted than I thought; only 2 trains an hour :-o

There are other options that I can discuss with you directly, not to fill up this thread :-)

That would be helpful, TeeBee :) It looks as if we're closest to Strawberry Hill station, maybe 500 metres away.

Very close to me! But I fear SH well be closed due the strike. We'll have to hatch a plan!

We will also have a car, if that helps.

I'll need to leave Vauxhall by 3:30 at the absolute latest. I'd like to do the whole thing but may cut it short in order to do some pub socialising if people will be there.

Current plan is to do Burgess parkrun, as my original plan to do Valentines won't leave enough time to get to the start by 11.
