Hello team! I've been added to the sixes too - glad to be joining you :-)

But, I'm off to Brighton tomorrow for the marathon there, so not really letting myself think about VLM just yet...

Morning all! Just catching up with the thread after a few days away. Welcome to all newcomers. All the best for Brighton FF. Had my first decent run for about a month yesterday morning. Achilles was tight initially, but eased off as I warmed up. Gives me some hope for getting through next Sunday, though that'll be an extra 20.3 miles!

Hope to get permission back soon from photographer to post pic from Wymondham 20. Not pretty, but as it was my dress rehearsal for VLM you'll be able to see what I look like in Alzheimer's Society vest. Just had vest back with my name added front and back too. Already looking forward to the Purple Pom Poms. Will Jon and Alex be at Fetchpoint Vicksta?

Hello! Anyone there, or do I have this thread all to myself? You must all be out enjoying the sunshine :-)
Enjoyed a nice easy 5 miles in the sunshine with a cooling breeze, though hope 17Apr is at least 5degC cooler.
Have the permission to use Wymondham 20 photo, so have posted this as Picture on my Fetch page and also on my giving page: uk.virginmoneygiving.com
Hopefully hear from someone else soon...

Hello Phil, just popping in between my usual weekend errands. It is very warm out there today. From a FP point of view I wouldn't mind it a little cooler so I'm sure you runners must be thinking the same!!

Yup, was out enjoying the sunshine! No, am afraid Jon and Alex won't be at Fetchpoint, we did think about it but iit would be a very long day out for Alex and tbh it is the access to loos that concerned us most, had to q for about 20 miins for the loo at Fetchpoint last year, whch was fine for me, but 20 miins is a long time for a baby who wants his pooey nappy changed! Also Jon isn't that confident out and about on his own with Alex, so they are staying at home to watch on telly.
