The counter-upper doesn't make allowances for too many squats done the previous day 
I could do with being able to have a swim after work, but the pools are closed today.

I have done weights (repeatedly lifting and carrying small children) and running (two streers back from the playground chasing a 6 year old). It all counts, right?

Like V-rap I was feeling slightly worse for wear (and muscle tear*) ,at least until I got going.
I had the track to myself and did a mini Christmas tree of reps 60 - 60, 50 - 50, 40 - 40, and the star on top - a single 30. (running)
Plus half an hour shot put. (cross train - strength)
*just those tiny destructions that make you stronger. Eventually.

2.77 miles (my legs will be trashed tomorrow as it's All Hill And a few lengths of the pool. I think I should count the wrestling with shower controls as an extra category. Now I intend to lift some weights (aka beer)
