Ooooh, why have I got 108% WAVA? What does that actually mean? I'm slow and I had an injured foot so came back into training very carefully. I'm guessing 108% is actually rubbish? As for anything required on Fetchpoint... yes please. Loads of cheers and hugs. Oh, and some orange jelly babies and cold orange or tropical fruit juice would be good if that is possible. I won't need too much just enough to get my sugar level back up. (Type 1 diabetic). |

Real juice would be good as I can top up my water bottle with it if that's OK. It's quick acting sugar. As to my WAVA that was a silly Santa fun run which was about 2.5km and I ran quite quick as there were too many children I wanted to beat, but it was a bit of a guess!!! lol As for my VLM time it's a bit of a guess as I have been training off road due to not wanting to injure my foot again before the big day. I am hoping for 5 hours 30 minutes if possible. It will probably be slower as I will have to stop and check my blood sugar levels every few miles, but I live in the hope it may be quicker. As to orange jelly babies... they are the nicest taste. I'll eat any colour but always favour the orange ones. And for me they are an instant sugar hit and do not crumble in my fuelbelt like sugar lumps do!!! |

I'll recognise you Sarah! Mrs S, the chances of meeting someone at the merge point are fairly slim Im afraid. The difficulty being that unless you both cross the red/blue start lines at the same time you wont be able to coordinate your predicted arrival at the merge point. Unless you both were planning on carrying your phones? Either way, your gonna have a blast Is everyone going well with training/taper at the mo? We gotta keep an eye on you all to make sure you're in peak condition C'mon Team 5!! |
