Hello Fizz - fetchpoint must be at about the same mileage as when you scooted past me in Barcelona last year - we must be fated to have our paths cross at 22 miles Uyuni - 3.30!! wow, good on you. Hope it goes well at silverstone - watch out for all the seasons in one race! I did it last year - love the medal

Im in for a double marathon this year so my training may look a little clears throat different. Did a tough marathon on the 1st so my toe is a little sore but im back on the horse now after some nice gym sessions I have no target time. Get round the first one in around 5.5-6 hours then just enjoy "The" marathon :D

In for a double marathon? are you doing the first one the day before or immediately before (end to start?)? mad mad fool. And just in case anyone thinks this thread is quite busy - my team has a reputation to maintain - we were chattiest thread last year

As I said 3.30 is a vague ambition – apart from a small local 15 miler last year, Silverstone will be my first race further than 10k so I’ve absolutely no idea how I’ll do over 26.2. I got a ballot place the first year I entered which explains the lack of experience. The weather looks fairly benign for the weekend but I guess that can change pretty quickly. Will report back on Sunday.
