Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Hi all! Curly you'll be pleased to know I'm only doing a 2 weeks taper as well but for me it's because I haven't really got so much to taper from! 15m with faster finish planned for tomorrow then 22-ish on Monday. 18 the following Sunday. Plus a bit in between running and cross training.

No mud, rain, wind or strong sun please!

Thanks Curly and Well done Stander :). I did 16 in rain and initially mud until I re routed to roads which were wet but at least runnable! Studied forecast last night, suggested crap morning then dry afternoon so we changed our family plans so I could run pm, only for the weather to be worse if anything this afternoon! That'll learn me! All good training and character building - it may be pissing down on race day!

Gym tomorrow, rest Sunday then long time on feet run with a couple of clubmates on Monday :)

Just had a chinese and a glass of wine. Whoops.

Trial kit and hydration run tomorrow. Worked out my loops, water and hydration drop off points. I'm even putting some jelly babies out, I hope no-one nicks 'em.

Well done Stander, and well done clare on the 'rain and mud run'.
