Sombrero
Training perfect up until just over a week ago when I got a sore throat and then tonsillitis. Have done three 20 milers. Now not ran for nearly two weeks. Am on the mend so planning on 10-15 minutes tomorrow then parkrun Saturday. Nice easy one.

I'm currently not running much with a hip nipple that's not improving as much as I hoped. I've done one 20 miler but that was a number of weeks ago. After having to defer last year I will be on the start line whatever happens, but I'm not feeling great about it right now

Sombrero - you have done the important stuff and the two week lay off won't have made much of a dent, if any, in the stamina that you will have as a result of those 20s. Better to have had those illnesses now rather than just before the race.
CS - a shame about the niggle (I presume that "nipple" was an iPhone being "helpful"). Hopefully you will be able to enjoy the race and have a great day without any pressure as to running a fast time.

ION my prep for Fetchpointing is going well. This evening has involved 2 large glasses of wine and 2 reduced price donuts from Sainsburys.
