Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Fetch is ace, Fetch is fab - and the Website aint bad either (incase his Lordship is watching).

I remember when I did Edin back in 2008, that was a fab Fetch weekend, met loads of fetchies at the prerace meal, at fetchpoint, on route and at the post race meal- so, really looking forward to the support this year at London. Training not too bad, just seemed to struggle a tad on the 18milers thou :S, still, got another 1 this weekend, and then 20 next.

Target, go out and enjoy this 1 and to riase money for my Charity :D

Hello all. Great to be in the Fetchpoint team (there is something special about Team1 too!). It will be my second London Mara. At my first in 2013, I missed Fetchpoint totally. I think I was in the 'zone' (this is another way of stating that I was in a right mess really). I'm really looking forward to this year, getting a bit obsessive already. Training wasn't good over Xmas but has really improved since mid Jan. Light on miles, but I have done 2x20. Half a half Mara this weekend. Look forward to the updates.

Whiteflash - looking at your ever decreasing marathon times, we probably won't even see you going past as you'll be moving so fast!!

Hello Team 1 Buddies... This will be my first mara.. Struggling a bit with training at the moment - have had that cold with the cough that just keeps coughing for about 4 weeks. Anybody else doing 16 miles at the Kingston Breakfast run tomorrow?? I'll be there... At the back, probs.. :-)

Good luck StorksRock, I'm sure you will go well. I think it's going to be cold but not windy. I have a half Mara tomorrow that should tell me what shape I'm in/time to aim for.

Good luck to all in Team 1 for any races this weekend or long runs.

Hello! I've been allocated to team 1. Currently not sure if I'll be a runner or a supporter, but I'll be there one way or the other :) I fell during The National and damaged a nerve in my lower leg and am banned from even attempting to run until Monday. Missing probably the most crucial few weeks of training so really not sure I'll be running the marathon, but there's still a chance.

Hi all, I was lucky enough to win a Fetch place in the ballot, so I feel under pressure to perform! Training going well, first 20 miler on Friday, and I can still walk so I have to think I'm doing something right.
Having to fit training in around a 1 year old baby girl is the biggest challenge, but touch wood she won't cause me too many problems over the next 6 (eek) weeks.
Looking forward to sharing tales with you all, and hopefully seeing/meeting you on the 26th.

Just saying Hi to everyone as a helper again.
Gothy I was watching at the nationals and I saw your fall :-( I recognized it was you as I served you at fetchpoint a few years ago. That part of the course was horrible, thick mud and a partly concealed path. They really needed a marshall there.

Hello fellow team one people. Murphey checking in. My second visit to London marathon having told anyone who would listen that I would never be doing it again! Training is going really well at the moment and I'm far less anxious than last year. Just can't wait to get to the start line.
