Oh Maz, I'm sure Fleecio is right. Much as I love you being here you really can't force it.
You always doing loads, perhaps you need autumn and winter to consolidate and next spring will barge into your life with a bagful of newts! x

As for me I don't think I've ever done such a concerted, thought out, ten days of training.
Today was jumps and sprints and I did fine in spite of also going up to the athletic centre yesterday. Seems to have worked just doing throws yesterday.
I was half thinking of sneaking in a bit of weights gym after the session was over - but saw sense as a pretty tough plyometric circuit section was involved, plus back to back sprints and sandpit work (which is not quite so jolly and childlike as it sounds!)

My efforts are being thwarted by coronavirus. My climbing session has been cancelled due to new Scottish restrictions.
I have however read my book the last couple of evenings which has benefited me in terms of sleep I think. Less screen time.

Reading is GREAT isn't it!
I've nearly finished book three of four. The first three have been easy-but-need- to-concentrate, the final book is 'harder'.
Reading has been a perfect aid to recovery. I think it might suit me to do alternate hard then NOTHING days, although it's a bit soon to be sure.

I've bitten the bullet and become a zwifter. No longer desperately awaiting the return of road running races and pinning my hopes on Manchester marathon next spring - these things will come at some point but I'm not going to base my winter around them. It's time to do something about how fat and slow I've become over the (enjoyably) lazy summer.
So that's my new thing for September.
Wife has been a keen zwifter for a while so I think I know what I'm getting myself into...
