What I've always hated about windbreaks is how they spoil your view. This fashion for tents on the beach these days is just the same.

Me too ar. You put them up to protect you from the wind, but most times that comes from the shore. When I sit on a beach I want to look at the sea.

Do not some of those structures need planning permission? Clearly the 'feck off this is our area of beach you aint coming in'.
Some of the wind breaks are better than security fencing at Galstonbury or data centres!
