I've asked this before, but can't find the thread for the life of me. Does anyone have the course profile for this race please.
Also, looking through the bumpf this morning I was amused by the line "All finishers will receive a medal, t-shirt and ice lolly". Mmmm, an ice lolly. With the weather forecast to be 13 degees and raining I should imagine ice cream will be the last thing most people want at the finish! Perfect racing weather though as far as I'm concerned

The lolly has been a feature since Adam was a lad - very rarely has it been 'the last thing' people want - usually the first thing.
course is as bumpy as hell.

Gaaaah 2:00:28. Stupid 28 seconds!!!!!!
Was a lovely race though, really supportive marshalls. Lovely seeing Becca7 a few miles in, before she dissapeared off into the distance, and thanks for the cheering on at the end BCRB and Naomi
Despite being soaked through at the end I really appreciated that ice lolly! Definitely a race I would do again.

Didn't think that I would appreciate the ice lolly as much this year but I was very glad of it. Nice to be able to run this course without it being boiling hot. 1.48 for me, whereas my previous best time for this race was 2.11. You are going to be regularly running sub 2 if you can get 2.00.28 on this course when short of training Poots.

Everyone set for this then? Only just over a week to go. Sounds like good PB potential.

I would prefer weather conditions more like last year to be honest...

I'm in, still a bit short of mojo so not expecting to get near my PB over this distance
I ran it two years ago and recall it being a bit hilly. But apparently not as hilly as it used to be. They changed the route a few years back.

Whereas Flitwick 10k, where they don't change the course at all, seems to get hillier by the year!
