Sorry you’ve been suffering Em. Good work so far. Lots of choice with flowers. Master Discount Store had lots of plastic blooms I liked these on a tree Also liked these wallflowers and honeysuckle. A pity not to be able to smell these. These were in the grounds of De Montfort Hall |

I decided to approach today with a *I have no idea* attitude. When I was teeny, I was given a gorgeous wild flower book. It was hardback, and very thick, so not your perfect field guide. It was colour coded and beautifully illustrated. Lovely to look at, but not that useful. For starters, we lived in a concrete jungle, and secondly, digital photography did not exist. So even if I saw a flower, I had no way of recording it and looking up later (we didn't carry paper and coloured pencils as a matter of course) Now, however, it would be good to have. I think it's at my mum's. In the meantime, I'm hoping FDNB will be able to help fill the gaps Clover White flowers Little teeny tiny pink flowers Pretty little blue flowers Bluebells (I know that one!) Unusual petals Lilac coloured bluebells |

Gosh, I'd never heard of cat's ear Chrisity, it's the sort of yellow flower I would just look at an assume was a buttercup or dandelion but I shall watch out for these in future. I think WA's third pic is our old friend Herb Robert. |
