Isabel May 2020 10:24pm, 12 May 2020 1,450 posts	0 Isabel Some fab birds today all Saw a few real birds, not as many as hoped at the pond, but at least a moorhen and some mallards. Had a vague recollection that 1 or 2 of the orienteering posts in the local woods had birds on, so had a good little adventure finding those. Found all but 2 of the posts; those 2 had people blocking the paths so that'll be a mission for another day, but turned out there are at least 4 birds there Back near home I had a hunch that the play park would have some bird related stuff; I think one of the sculptures is an owl...could be a fox...maybe a mongoose....

I have to drop my car off for its long overdue service this morning (thanks lockdown), Mazda is finally open again - YAY. So I get to run home instead of doing an out and back or around the block. I do enjoy running from somewhere different - small things etc...
