Anti doping rules come under the WADA code. UCI signed up to the WADA code, so have to enforce or appeal the verdict.

USADA is the national anti-doping agency of the US, UKAD is the UK one, WADA is the world anti-doping agency so higher. ukad.org.uk |

UCI are implicated in the USADA case. They may challenge, they don't have to automatically support a WADA decision.

I see the UCI as being like the Premier League or similar. WADA is a regulator, UCI is an organiser. I could be wrong though. |
