I heard that too. Which makes his world hour records, beating the rides of known dopers Indurain and Rominger even more spectacular. His World Hour record on a 'normal' bike was beaten by someone who subsequently tested positive later in their career too.

Virtually 100% certain. Spanish team with history of doping offences (Banesto - Pedro Delgado), was given mysterious clear injections and was treated/trained by Dr Conconi - Michele Ferrari's mentor in all things dark and shady.

Note to pros. This is the kind of statement we want to see: independent.ie Although he is off to ride with Riis and Bertie and his dad doesn't exactly have a clean past either... |

I've just made a contribution to the Paul Kimmage defence fund. My own personal 'fuck you' to Lance, Johan, Pat, Hein & co.

I am happy to see this from Roche, although wasn't too happy to see he is riding with Contador & Riis next year

Is Armstrong also stripped of the 3rd place in 2009 ? If so, IIRC that would put Bradley on the podium that year, so he and Froome were not first podium brits this year !!!

The other two ahead of him were Bertie and Shleck the younger. I'm far from convinced Bertie was riding clean. And given Frank had links to Fuentes, you'd be daft to think Andy wouldn't do much the same thing given how close they seem when riding.

Nicholas son of Stephen Roche.... yep another known doper (according to Kimmage). Want a hero, and Kimmage strikes you as too self-righteous,and Simeoni and Vaughters are ex dopers, then how about Christophe Bassons the only team member of Festina who didn't dope and that somehow made him public enemy number1 : guardian.co.uk |

Oh and another Armstrong buddy admitted dopiong yesterday and resigned his job as head of Orica Green Edge - Matt White. road.cc His number 2 - Neil Stephens set to takover was a member of that fateful Festina team who got chucked out of the TDF for doping en masse (all except for Bassons). He admitted taking EPO thinking it was Vitamin C... yeah right.... en.wikipedia.org |
