If they *say* something is wrong it most definitely *is*

Missing words.

But even if they are, the climate has changed.

I’d hope that OJ Simpson would get busted these days.

Honestly, the UCI guy is saying nothing you wouldn't expect. I think a credible fact based investigation is merited to clear up the picture. What else could he say "I've read the report, nothing much to see here" like I do? That's not credible for a leader of the UCI.

I think they'll find nothing. But then I would say that...

Perhaps the leader of the UCI appreciates that credibility depends on actions.

G needs to add a bit more nuance to his position there. It's fine to suggest some TUEs might be dispensed with if we allow asthmatics to risk suffering or not compete, but we can't do away with TUEs completely otherwise athletes with acute medical needs who still could be tested under whereabouts would fall foul of the presence of medication necessary to treat medical conditions which are preventing them from competing - e.g. when Farah had opiates following infected tooth which hospitalised him etc.

On Wiggins' TUEs, apparently this - twitter.com - don't know if it is true or not of course.

Sky could just join the MPCC which would mean a 7 day break from competition if you need a TUE for corticosteroids...

Larkim - It's probably true. The UCI president would know this but is just getting so good PR via his comments.
