Snow in the Fens, and doesn't look like turning to rain any time soon.
Have to admit the Lakeland fells look a bit special on the webcams.

We have lots of it. It's been nearly five years since there was a proper covering around my way and Little P is very keen to make up for all that time without any!

A light dusting here which soon turned to slush and has more or less gone thanks to some light rain.

At 8am we had heavy rain.... by 9am we had a huge snow blizzard and set off for one of the mos memorable Santa runs ever! Complete dollop of snow in Colchester... castle park looked simply magical with the few mentalist who still turned up!! We were advised to WALK. I did a very slow jog... had to keep the streak alive! On the way home a lanky teenager asked me if he could have a motorbike for Christmas! Very funny morning, On foot!!! Car chaos here

We kind of take it for granted up here that we'll get snow every winter. How exciting for her to see if for the first time.

Strange to think a 5 year old in this country hasn't played in snow. As HP we just expect it up here although even the smallest amount send me into panic about driving in it.
