A few inches have fallen here (South London/Surrey) since 4.00 pm. No sign of any gritters either - typical!

No snow at my house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. however, at my apartment in Greece it's a different story - this was taken looking from the garden yesterday by a neighbour

Do they have heating in the Greek appartments Jovi Runner?
I remember spending a rather chilly 'Winter Sun' holiday in the Canaries as there was no heating in the apartment!

Ooh, sorry... no snow here, beautiful clear night, big bright moon and already below freezing.

generally they don't have central heating. We have an air con system that allegedly heats as well but when we were there one Easter and it was very cold we discovered it only heated the area immediately next to the unit! Most permanent residents of the island have wood or paraffin burning stoves for winter. One of the old guys said he hadn't seen snow like it since 1941!

A stove as a sensible idea and actually sounds very cosy!

lol, Fragile, if you can still see the outline of the bush, it isn't snowing.
This is Tri baby going to school last year (yes, he still had to go to school)

It could be the only snow we get this winter, we've got to make the most of it! 😅

It appears that only myself and a couple of neighbours made any attempt to shift the snow from last night. Thanks to everybody else's laziness, the pavements on the way to the bus stop this morning were lethal - completely compacted by people walking on it and now covered in ice.
Got into work (about eight miles away) and it seems that the area was not even touched by yesterday's snow!
