Great running Lemon

Thanks for testing Lip Gloss (and Lemon), you don't have to note the distance, but it you to keep a log then add it in the notes :-)

Have a good weekend everyone, I have skipped parkrun again as I want to be sensible and build-up my distance rather than forcing a distance - my 5km event is booked in for 11/3, it may well be a run-walk but one that I am focused on.

3 min x 4 reps for me tomorrow :-)

Now off to Pilates ...

Congrats on the new job Nutso! bunting. How exciting! Well done on RED as well!

I am enjoying my new job, what a change its been! No more feelings of dread as Sunday draws to an end and Monday morning looms!

Where I work they are starting a Biggest Loser challenge to enter in pairs. The lady I share an office with, M has in her own words a fair bit to lose, and I could do with losing maybe half a stone or up to a stone. So we've paired up and will have a go at it and it will help us get to know more people there as she only started a few weeks before me. We aren't entering with any ideas of winning the challenge but with the aim of of focusing on what we are eating and how much we are moving, and using it to get us back on track. Initial weigh in is on Monday and then final weigh in is early March, I think it's only a four week thing so maybe enough to shed a few pounds and give me a kick up the bum! Watch this space for updates on how it's going for me and M.

Sounds a good way to lose the weight and meet your work colleagues.

Congratulations Nutso.

I wasn't going to join when they first advertised it, because of not having that much to shift and because I am not very committed to cutting out the crap (I know I should eat less crap but never do anything about it). M said she wasn't competitive and didn't have winning in mind, she just wanted someone to pair up with to give her some motivation and support, so I couldn't say no really and by the end of listening to her I felt a lot more motivated. I am hoping that thoughts of letting her down when I reach for a share size bag of crisps might just stop me, I mean, who really needs to eat Dorritos anyway?
