MM, were those hills, cliffs? :)

Lem, glad you're still running in spite of your new diagnosis.
kwala, and Lem, you'll have to go and find a nice multi storey car park to get your hill fixes.

Nut, great that you thought today's parkrun was easy, good luck in your 10k tomorrow.

DQ! How could you?! :-o

At our parkrun, they keep a folder in which you can keep a spare bar code, just in case.......

Fortunately my DOMS has greatly improved today so I got out for a little walk this afternoon. I have a 10k tomorrow, mainly trail, with long hills. I hope it's not as hot as it was last year.

I prefer to run downhill than uphill, why are they so much shorter than the ups? :-o

AR - downhills are always shorter - even when you reverse the course - how does that work?!?! and lol at the thought of running up the ramp in the carpark with a massive queue of angry motorists behind me!! Enjoy(?!) your 10k tomo :-)

Nice work on the parkrun Nutso :-)

Lem10 I'm gonna guess the difference is 45. I have an HRM somewhere, might be interesting to see what mine is like.

Good luck LG!

The heart rate question from yesterday - as we ran we were comparing our beats per minute and the difference was amazing. We just got our gadgets out to compare average heart rate for the run, his was 50 bpm lower than mine 😳 and at times I was 60 more than him! What I tend to find when running is I am either in the orange or red zone, and that is going as slowly as I do now! I think I should only be in the red zone on a flat out sprint, so I think I need to go even slower. Which is essentially walking. Anyway this was all just for interests sake yesterday but does make me think I am doing this all wrong! muppet
