Malins looks great in the premiership playing for Saracens but don’t see see him scoring critical tries against tier 1 teams which is what a winger is in the team for.

Happy to see OHC in.

All the pubs close to the stadium have put outside speakers up and are promising to play Delilah on a loop, it may happen at one or two places too. City arms, directly opposite the Westgate street Stadium entrance have told the Western Mail that they shall be doing so.
Memorial for Eddie Butler at Abergavenny yesterday, all the great and the good turned up according to the same newspaper.

I feel that it will be like the first 6 Nations after Bill McLaren died with a new voice at the the BBC, whoever it will be has big boots to fill, of both commentators. Might there be some new phrase like "Oh France, what have you done..." or " It's high enough, it's long enough etc..."
25.25 hours to go, can't wait.

I'm hoping to drop into a Fetchie friend's house to watch the Calcutta Cup. Be great to have a more sociable watching experience! Except that I get so worked up watching Scotland - they put us through the wringer so often! :-) G

I’m calling it now. Wales to beat Ireland by under a converted score, Scotland to win by a kick

Italy to give France a scare up to about an hour

I love that it's mostly very close to call. I can't see Scotland beating England, even with all of England's tribulations. And again, Wales Ireland is very close, depends a lot on how much the players have been together, I always feel and a lot of the Ireland players do play together. I have no idea what France will be like this year either! :-) G
