Due to hot weather; I’m permitted to dress down tomorrow. The email makes reference to shorts.
Wonder if I should break out the proper runner’s short shorts? As long as the train stays in the station, I can foresee no problems. Haha.

I wear shorts most days but then they are workman's shorts (I work sometimes)

The salt mine was traumatised enough by my cargo shorts last week, never mind me turning up in Linekeresque short shorts (1990 shitstains optional)

I don't wear shorts to work, although some colleagues do.

I did once have to send an employee home to change after he showed up in a pair of 80s silver disco shorts which, fabulous though they were, just didn't offer enough coverage for a man working on the shop floor.

I could get away with city shorts, but I find the office chairs irritate the back of my knees. Loose linen below the knee for me.

I change into running shorts at hometime sometimes and that's enough for most of my colleagues. I'd be lynched if I did it during the day.

Shorts every day since I ceased to be beholden to an ungrateful and short-sighted gang boss [aka employer].
The physio department is quite OK about the wearing of shorts during treatmen.
