I know we are accustomed to some of them but, for others, there may be a good reason to change; i.e. Chelmsford Parks Marathon has been know as just the Chelmsford Marathon since 2015 as the 'Parks' bit only applied to the inaugural 2014 event.

I think this is down to Fetch race listings giving the distance as 26.2 miles against the more accurate distance of 26.22 miles. The difference of 33 yards seems to make a slight difference.
