Ally I did it last year if you want to look at my log. It’s great but proper hilly. Fmail me if you want. Right boys and girls. Who fancies doing a run around the routes of the murals in Glasgow? Having a chat on the running friends Scotland fb group and me and another runner are looking at it. She’s off to see if ERN fancy it. Probably may or jun. Any takers? Route approx 7M |

Route fetcheveryone.com/gallery-showphoto.php?id=101303 I enjoyed it. Made me realise hill running is a different sport. Beautiful course. Good value. Was much much slower than normal. As I can’t run fast downhill. Nice buff too |

Cheers for that Katy. I've entered it anyway. Looks maybe about Mamores half difficulty, should be a challenge.

Ally, I did the Mull of Kintyre Marathon, really lucky that it was reasonably warm, dry and no wind (for march a bit of a miracle!) it is hilly, the 2nd half has hills that go off into the distance, my watch showed 2100 ft of elevation, felt more! Really tough run. At the time I remember thinking, race ticked, never again! Then I saw that entrys were open for this year and now thinking wasn't that bad, maybe worth another go (especially as September should be reasonably warm). So if you like a challenge go for it!

Cheers Iain, signed up for that too. I'm thinking it can't be harder than an ultra😀

Thinking of just more or less following my ultra programme for Mull of Kintyre marathon, I'm thinking it should make a marathon easier, is this idea a bit silly?
