Polkemmet have announced on FB. Think I saw it in my feed last night / this morning. Another parkrun I'll probably never get to! Still only done 1 in Glasgow or west of Falkirk, to be fair! :-) G

Why not :-) G? It's just off the M8. Easier to find than Livi.

My plan is Falkirk, then go to Polkemmet.

I lived next to Livi and I helped out at Falkirk startup (was it Scotlands 3rd or 4th after Pollok and Cramond?). Since then, I've only ever done "local" parkruns. :-) G

I used to work ( 20+ years ago) in Whitburn and ran out to and around Polkemmet Park as one of my regular lunchtime routes. Seems weird to be going back there to do a parkrun

Long shot, given the small fields, but has anyone run Gargunnock Hill Race? Coming up, first of June. It looks on the potentially approachable side of madness (unlike, say, Alva :-o )

Not sure if it was me ... But I had heard something, but nothing more. Maybe they will launch by stealth the same day as Polkemmet ;-)
