Would highly recommend it though.

We are down in Glasgow this weekend. We were planning to do Victoria parkrun, but I need to incorporate it into a long run. Is there anywhere around there to add some miles or might a different parkrun be better?

Victoria Park down to the North bank of the Clyde, you can run back all the way to Glasgow Green via the Clyde Walkway and even as far as Cambuslang and beyond to Strathclyde Park.

My suggestion is the opposite direction to Ally's: head south from Victoria Park to NCN7, but head west. If you don't want to go out and back you could get a train back (to Scotstounhill or Jordanhill) from anywhere from Bowling to Balloch, depending on just how long your long run is.
I'll probably also be at Victoria, but then visiting Dippy the diplodocus at Kelvingrove. My other tip is park to the southside of the park and take the underpass into the park.

Thanks D. We are staying near cambuslang so may just run back to there. Stu will be driving so don’t need to come back for the car. Hope to see you on Saturday!
