I'm in Glasgow (well Airdrie for the football) on saturday

I'm not supposed to be parkrunning anywhere as I'm doing Smokies on Sunday

Can I convince myself to go down Friday night so I can see some of my favourite people at Victoria, and maybe do a bimble and tick off a new parkrun???

To be pedantic, Scorge, that would be masochism. Unless you are taking someone else to the Drum as weel :-p

Can you trust yourself not to fire into it, Maz ;-) Though quite possibly pacing me at the moment would slow you doon enough.

I'm not coming... I am being sensible on all fronts. Tapering like a boss for sunday!

Also Erin is working fri night, so that curtails things. Could get up early saturday and make it, but pre 7am start is unlikely. Well I would, for you lot, but actually nana wouldn't!

Aw, but also the right decision I think. You have a PB in sight! Need a good sleep on Friday night.

Thanks so much for the route recommendation! Enjoyed Victoria (though surprised at the etiquette- no effort to keep left at all and lapping runners having to weave all over the place) then headed to the river and right back along to cambuslang and our hotel. Also passed the hotel where the athletes are evidently staying and did a few loops trying to see somebody I recognized! Lots of Germans, Norwegians and Spaniards all decked out in their kit. 20 wonderful miles :)
