Ribenaface is doing it, if that helps. Don't know if he's still on Fetch, but he's def still running very well. Now Carnethy. Didn't he win Fling outright, or was it 1st V40? (Still can't believe he's over 40 - he looks about 17!) G

I am not running the 7R but it was in my mind to do my pentlands loop on Sunday if the weather is favourable and so I would be on part of the route.

Might bump into you then Bazo. That would be cool. I won't suggest to run with you though, as you're too quick! Make sure you don't bump into the race particpants, literally. This is no time for a Bazo tumble! G

SoapMan, what latest on your recovery? Will you come to the race to watch? Have you informed organisers that you cannot take part so they can give your space to someone on waiting list? Maybe see you there - get Jules R to come too to watch, we're due a meet up and he cites your non show at Newhailes as a reason we haven't met up! I'm trying to get him to do XC, but he's having none of it! G

Hi HG.. Recovery is slow progress, I did 7 minutes at 9mm on the treadmill this morning, all pain free so it's good but a long way to go yet. No targets to be set until I can do 20 minutes, then I will run outside, then build it up. Yes I gave my place back, no refunds unfortunately. I might see about coming over that way on the bike to see you all finish on Sunday

Mrs12bar & I haven’t been to Inverness for donkeys years. We thought we might go up for a holiday next Autumn & I could run the Loch Ness Marathon while there.
Crikey, I’ve just been on the marathon website & it’s £54 to enter. That does seem excessive to me. I realise that all runners have to be bused to the start line, but at the end of the day, the run is sponsored by Baxter’s.
I know I’m being a tight git, but £54 is a lot of money for a marathon.
