Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I was there today. Spectator. They’ve moved the start forward and the finish back about 100m. This so you can finish on tarmac not wet grass

I was scanning at Stirling today, though didnae scan you, Ally. App worked a treat for scanning, though I had a problem getting the file out, which was a bit stressful. Ended up WhatsApping it to the RD. Rather relieved when results came out promptly and fully a bit after.

First finisher was over two minutes ahead! Seen that happen a small, hard parkrun, but not afair at a faster, medium-sized run. He was a wee bit disappointed as he thought had finished two seconds outside the course record, but in fact had beaten it by four. With the layout of the course, could see from early on, before he went under the bridge, that he was a long, long way ahead.

Merry Christmas & Happy New G(rrr)
The International Cross Country was always live on BBC when it was a Holyrood. How is this big news? I really hope it gets same amount of visitors and attention that it did in Edinburgh. I loved going to watch it. :-) G

Because it is now not a Great Run event? Although, the article says streamed live, which perhaps means it is not being broadcast on tv.

Having attended last year and been at Holyrood and seen that on telly - Stirling was not as good an event. Not the organisers fault it had been dry and calm and devoid of mud, but still, it was not much of an xc course.

Can't believe they're charging £23 for the 7.4km trail run - shocking poor value for money imo !!

You're right.. streamed live online would suggest it's not going to be on broadcast TV, if that matters at all, as long as it is free to view for anyone that wants to see it.
